Bucket list #27 - complete

My blog has turned into the place where my rejected Facebook statuses go to explain themselves.

Yep - it happened today. I am the proud new bearer of a flaming hot symbol of Christianity on my upper back. It is not the same April Fool's phoenix that many have already seen. But...believe it or not...I've been under too much lately to pretend to have the energy to photograph it right. My friend took day-of photos while it was being done earlier. I took some weird photos in the mirror. But the shoot is going to have to wait till later. Because as usual life is sweeping me away - admittedly more so this week than usual.

This week I got sick, again I think it's because of getting thrown off my eating/sleeping/exercising schedule. I also got robbed for the first time ever. I've also been pushed to my physical limits a few times - twice with moving all of my stuff down three flights and then up three flights, and then once with the tattoo. That post will come later with the good pics but that HURT. I'll say it. Anyways, I went into work this morning still sick, because this weekend is Youth Councils. That is the Catalina Wine Mixer of our department. This weekend I will be working about 35 hours between tomorrow morning and Sunday afternoon. And I'm actually sick, and actually tired, and now I've gotta take care of this new ink. This all could have been timed waaaay differently, but nooooo. Haha. Fitting that I would be branded this week! And that marks about where this year comes full circle.

This post probably didn't make any sense. It's time for me to pass out on my new futon and wake up in time for me to pack for this weekend. Hopefully I remember the shots of adrenaline mixed with Red Bull.
