Nothin like Dinosaur BBQ...

So yesterday was young adults hangout night with our church, and because we found out last week that some of us had not yet been to Dinosaur, the plan was to go there for dinner and then head back to our pastors' house to use their new pool table. It was pretty sweet. I was excited all day because of this, and also because of the fact that it was dress down day and we didn't have to pay because we were supposed to be cleaning our office spaces. Anyways, I was texting my pastor to get all the details and out of nowhere I thought of this one guy who's parents are officers and I used to work with most of then. He's pretty cool - he is now in the young adult age group, but we haven't seen him around church in awhile. So I invited him and he came, which was cool because it's been a year or so since the last time I saw him. And then he had to go do homework, so some of the rest of us went back to our pastors' and I lost at both Family Guy Monopoly (it was the first time I've ever played) and pool. But I did win the last hand and the game of Texas Hold 'Em, even though I was losing most of the game. So then I got back around 11 and my roommate had just got back from work, and some of her coworkers wanted to go out. Let's keep in mind that I've put in 51 hours this week already, and had a normal workday starting at 8:30 the next day, and also will be working on Saturday. So duh - I said let's go! Well we didn't get back till 3 this morning, and drinks were cheap but that probably backfired on me...let's just say that I can't believe I got to work on time this morning. And I also was starving and first thing I did was eat a bowl of ramen at my desk. It was a lot of fun though. Apparently they want to go back out tonight. Do I have to wake up and start driving to camp at 8:00? Yes. Will I be working another full day? Yes. Therefore I am slightly undecided.

All that to say that, even though I think I've mentioned this in a previous post, I have definitely switched to an extrovert and being with people recharges me. Yesterday was a full good day and, in an ironically unfortunate way, it's a nice change to laugh and relax and be happy again.
