What a day.

Sometimes I just need to list everything I've accomplished to feel good about myself, and to show me again how to do it should I have to go through the process in the future. Today, I...
- Called the landlord to arrange a "move-in walkthrough" while waiting to pick up pizza for our lunch break at work. Appointment made for 5:00 pm.
- Also called National Grid to get the electricity billed in my name starting tomorrow. Guessed my apartment number correctly - win! Had to look it up later to make sure I gave them the right one.
- Texted a friend in New Hampshire to try and get the cell phone number of my ultimate frisbee co-captain because the way the day was coming together, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it at 6.
- Got back from working at camp, which is an hour and a half away, 15 minutes late and sped to the apartment to pick up keys and sign the weird apartment defects paper, I don't really know what to call it.
-Waved at the guy in the parking lot with the small dog. Might as well make friends with the neighbors!
- Had plenty of time to head back to my apartment to change for frisbee - almost wasted all that time because of emails and Facebook notifications that piled up during my non-internet work day. And wasted it sitting in front of my computer excitedly trying to plan which stuff to move over - I would say failed miserably but I was still freakin excited. Also, received text from NH friend with co-captains email - yay for social networking!
- Headed to frisbee determined to play a beast game.
- Didn't really play a beast game, but no one did today. Blamed my personal shortfalls on my bad ankle; I kept making good cuts and getting passed the disc but was a few feet short. If my ankle were ok I could totally have gone to!
- Was asked by co-captain why my NH friend contacted him to get his cell phone number for me. Awkwardly explained that I might not have been able to come to practice. I am now realizing how much more awkward that probably seemed when it first happened.
- Got back at 9:00. Enjoyed the windows-open-music-blasting weather this late at night.
- Got online and decided against physically preparing for moving - instead updated my address with the DMV, corrected it on my license, changed it on my vehicle registration (whose registration renewal had already come in the mail and I smartly decided to wait till I knew my address to complete it), ordered new copies of both documents (longer sidenote: this month I am paying for rent in old apartment, new apartment, security deposit in new apartment, replacement of all these documents, and also the tattoo I'm scheduled to get. It's a painful month), re-discovered that I have to call the bank to change my address on my cards, and remembered that to change the address on bills and loans I'll just have to fill out the form next time they arrive.
- Now finished blogging about my productive day, and will be plotting either my tattoo design details, moving out process, or whether or not to actually decide to cancel my internet!
